Here are some of the photos that we had taken when Michael was 3 weeks old. We of course had to get a few head shots of the big sister too:)

Happy World Down Syndrome Day!!!

Today 3/21 represents Trisomy 21, or in other words, Down Syndrome. Today is a day that we can celebrate our beautiful daughter and all the joy that she brings into our lives. We are so grateful for her! Here a some of the things we love most about our little angel!

-Her CHEESY grin

-That she says "HI!!!" to every single person she sees

-Her wonderful hugs and kisses

-The way she always wants to be around her Daddy

-Watching her walk down the sidewalk being so INDEPENDENT

-Her love of SIGN LANGUAGE and watching her make up her own signs for new words

-Hearing her say prayers

-Listening to her sing songs in her room to her babies

-How she tells us "night night" while putting her head on her hands and then telling us to "SHH."

-Trying to do her hair every morning while she turns the bathroom light ON AND OFF over and over again.

-The way everybody notices her and wants to get to know her.

-How she walks up to her friends and gives them hugs.

-How every morning she wakes up asking to watch a "show," which really means a Signing Time video.

-She always wants to give her baby brother a kiss on the forehead while she says "Kiss," and then, "Oh, Nice!"

-Her DETERMINATION to do everything that everybody does! And she always succeeds eventually!

We love you Aubrey! We are so grateful for you being you! We know she will go very far in life:)

Fun Photos

Life has been pretty busy with the two little darlings. One of the hardest parts is finding the time that I need to work with Aubrey on all of her therapy. Hopefully this little break from stuff won't hinder her too much:) Aubrey is loving being a big sister. She love to play with Michael and give him kisses on his head. Michael is just becoming a little chunk! He loves to eat more than anything, but I'm not complaining because he's a really good sleeper too!
