Happy Birthday Kristin!!!

Happy Birthday Kristin. I promised her that I would post a picture of our good friend Melissa and I today so that she would be able to see our pregnant bellies. Here is me at 25 weeks, and Melissa at 35 weeks. We sure wish that Kristin could have been at lunch too:( We're thinking of you!!!

Our Little Halloween Witch

Here's our little foofie darling witch! She loved wearing her costume...especially the hat. She was constantly walking around the house saying, "hat, hat, hat!" She was lucky enough to wear her costume 4 times. We had our ward Fall Festival, then the UAF Halloween Party, a school Dress-up day, and then the big Halloween Day. She was a little nervous about the trick-or-treating. At the first house she just cried, then she seemed to get a little bit more friendly with each house. Being a mom is the best! It's so fun to watch Aubrey grow and go through each stage.

Happy Election Day!!!

Mark's very first time voting as a US Citizen! It was very exciting:)

Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we went as a family to Jaker's Pumpkin Patch. This has become a yearly tradition for us.  I just love getting the pictures of Aubrey with the pumpkins.

After taking pumpkin pictures, Aubrey decided that it was much more fun to play in the dirt. This was so funny to me, because she normally doesn't like stuff on her hands, but she was rubbing the dirt all over herself!

It's a.......

BOY!!! It's true, we are actually having a boy. Mark is over the moon, crazy excited. I couldn't keep him still in the ultrasound room because he was running around like a crazy man yelping for joy. I hope to post some more ultrasound pics soon, but my scanner is not working quite properly. Anyway, more updates to come on Baby Boy Leck.

Aubrey's class field trip

Aubrey's little early intervention class took a field trip last Thursday to a farm. Aubrey was so fascinated with the ducks. She kept going back and back. She also got to ride a horse (which for some reason my camera failed to take pictures of). She loved the horse, which is a big improvement from her first pony ride last fall that she hated with a passion.

What a cute little clown!

Our trip to Canada!!!

Over Labor Day weekend, we finally made the trek up to British Columbia to visit Mark's grandparents, Aunt and Uncle. We had an absolutely fabulous trip. BC is BEAUTIFUL! I would seriously go back their any day of the week! It was so cute to see Aubrey with her Great-Grandparents. She loved them so much.

Aubrey and Nana

Mark, Grumps, and Nana at their home in Mission. Nana prepared a beautiful lunch for us on her wedding china. It was so beautiful.

Aubrey with Aunt Margaret

We went to an amazing suspension bride near Vancouver and did a little hiking too. Aubrey was thrilled to be big enough to walk around herself.

Good Times With Some Friends

Here we are at Red Robin with some of our friends who also have DS. All of these little cuties are only a couple months apart, and we hope that they'll grow up to be great friends!

Here is us with Jenny and her kids Grant (aka G-money) and Adlen, and Amanda with her darling kids! We met up at the Children's museum in SLC and had a fabulous time.

Dirt Biking

Well my little brother, Tyler, came out to visit this summer, and of course Mark had to teach him how to dirt bike! Here is my grown up handsome little brother up in the hills. He looks like a pro!

Our upcoming addition!!!

Well, for those of you who don't know...we are expecting! I am due February 15th, 2009 and we are getting pretty excited! Below are 2 ultrasounds, one done at 81/2 weeks, and the other done at 12 weeks. It completely amazes me how much a little baby can grow in less than 4 weeks! We will keep you updated for more ultrasounds and the gender!

Happy Birthday Princess!

I can't believe that our little Princess is already 2!!! She has changed so much over the past year. One of her greatest accomplishments is that Aubrey is now finally WALKING! She has been taking steps for a long time, but about 5 days before her birthday, she decided that walking all the time is much more efficient than crawling. It is so cute to see her wabble all over the house. Aubrey is also talking and signing a ton. It's so nice to be able to figure out what she needs and wants. We love her so much and are so grateful for her being part of our family!

Our little Princess insisted on wearing her Princess skirt all day!

Loving her new Princess chair from Auntie Jessica

Hurray for me! It's my party!

Alright, I think I can manage this one.

Yummmm...this is way better than I thought!

Her face was stained pink all night from this frosting!

Boston

We were so lucky to get to go to Boston for the week of the 4th of July. We spent the first half of the week with my Mom's family and then the second half with Mark's sister, Shauna and her family. Again I failed to take very many pictures, but here are a few highlights!

Here we are in front of the old State House
On the Mayflower II (a replica of the Mayflower).

Aubrey loved being with her cousins! Here is her and Josh at Harvard.

Our Newest US Citizen

Hurray! Mark is finally, finally, finally a citizen of the United States! It only took forever! He is absolutely thrilled to be able to vote in the November election. Congrats!!!

Our LIttle Movie Star

Well, I failed to take hardly any pictures of our wonderful trip to visit my parents in CO, but I did catch this darling picture of our little movie star! She has finally discovered that sunglasses are really fun!

Amber's Birthday

Mark threw me a fabulous birthday party. I woke up to breakfast in bed, which I literally thought he had bought at Denny's because he NEVER cooks. It was absolutely delicious. After dinner, I came home to lots of decorations and the cake was already lit! He is quite the coordinator. Despite me really not wanting to turn a year older, the day was fabulous!

My Birthday

Our beautiful Princess with her pigtails!

Everytime Aubrey wants to dance, she swings her arms around and around saying "dance, dance, dance!" That's my cue to turn on her absolute favorite cd, Enchanted.

Remodel

Well, I finally got my kitchen clean enough to take some photos of all the improvements we've made! Mark did an awesome job arranging the whole thing while he sent me away to Colorado for a week. Thanks hunny!!! I absolutely love everything!
